We’re excited to share a cryptography upgrade across Sodot’s MPC infrastructure:

We’re moving from DKLs19 to the new DKLs23 protocol, significantly reducing the end-to-end time for signature generation.

𝗔𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 - 𝗦𝗼𝗱𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲: 🗝️ All of this comes with 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 on our customers' end - the upgrade is built into our core infra and automatically upgrades as part of a version update.

DKLs23 is a protocol for computing 𝗘𝗖𝗗𝗦𝗔 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗣𝗖 - the signature scheme widely used by those trading on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and many other blockchains.

This upgrade joins our growing stack of supported signature schemes:
