In recent days, opponents of nuclear have again claimed nuclear power emits a lot of CO2 because of fuel production and material needs.

Controversial opinion: Trying to teach statistics without using calculus actually leads to a lot of bad statistics classes, where the rules seem really arbitrary and the formulas feel like they come out of nowhere.

@kareem_carr More people should be exposed to calculus. It would make the world a better place. Too few people understand how to talk/think about that part of math.

It's always weird to me when courses have an algebra base, simply so they teach it before calculus. Physics was another one.
