🩸 How to Complete the Nine First Fridays Devotion (Accurate & Church-Approved)

✅ What You MUST Do:

1️⃣ Receive Holy Communion
→ On the First Friday of 9 consecutive months
→ Must be done in a state of grace
→ Go to Confession if needed (within 8 days before or after)
→ Do not receive if you’re aware of mortal sin

2️⃣ Offer it in Reparation
→ Communion must be offered in reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
→ This is an interior intention... you don’t have to say anything aloud, but you must mean it

3️⃣ Don’t Miss a Month
→ If you miss even one First Friday, you’ll need to start over

4️⃣ Spiritual Disposition Matters
→ Receive with love and devotion... not just to check a box
→ It’s encouraged to spend time after Communion in silent prayer, offering thanks and reparation

→ Holy Hour of Adoration on First Fridays
→ Litany of the Sacred Heart
→ Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart

As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, let us thank God for the gift of knowing Him as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Holy Trinity is one God in three Divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

While this mystery is beyond our full understanding, God has revealed Himself to us so that we may know Him, love Him, and one day be with Him in Heaven.

May God the Father watch over you and provide for your needs.
May Jesus Christ draw you closer to Him through His truth and grace.
May the Holy Spirit guide you, strengthen you, and help you grow in faith, hope, and charity.
May the Holy Trinity bless your family, your home, and every part of your life.

MOST CATHOLICS DON’T KNOW WHAT RAPHAEL’S NAME ACTUALLY MEANS.

Raphael.

In Hebrew, it means: “God heals.”

He is the only angel in Scripture explicitly sent by God on a mission of healing.

He traveled disguised as an ordinary man.

He healed a blind father.

He drove away the demon that had killed seven husbands.

And only at the end did he reveal who he truly was:

“I am Raphael, one of the seven angels who stand before the glory of the Lord.”
• Tobit 12:15

Seven angels stand before God’s throne.

But only three are named in Scripture:

Michael — who fights.

Gabriel — who announces.

Raphael — who heals.

And Raphael’s mission did not end in the Book of Tobit.

For centuries, Christians have called upon him in times of sickness, fear, blindness, exhaustion, and despair.

He is the patron of healing, travelers, and those seeking God’s mercy in suffering.

If you are sick today…

If someone you love is in a hospital…

If doctors have no answers…

Remember this name:

On Pentecost Sunday, the Church grants a Plenary Indulgence to all the faithful who publicly recite or sing the hymn:
Veni Creator Spiritus.
A plenary indulgence is a complete remission of the temporal punishment due to sins already forgiven, a beautiful gift of God’s mercy!

Veni Creator Spiritus (English Translation)

Come, Holy Spirit, Creator blest,
And in our souls take up Thy rest;
Come with Thy grace and heavenly aid,
And fill the hearts which Thou hast made.
To Thee, the Comforter, we cry,
To Thee, the Gift of God Most High;
The Fount of life, the Fire of love,

1. Publicly pray or sing the Veni Creator Spiritus (in church, with family, or in a group)
2. Receive Holy Communion
3. Go to Confession (within about 20 days before or after)

"My daughter, tell the whole world about My inconceivable mercy. I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and a shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open.
