We got into the festive spirit this week as Santa dropped into the Children's Hospital 🎅
Santa spread lots of Christmas cheer with gifts for all & a sing-song with our staff 🎁🎶
Thank you to the big man himself and everyone at @CastleCourt for bringing the magic this week ✨
My pager has been on my hip when I carried my children in my arms, when I bent over a child to sew a cut on her face, when I hugged a colleague, when I was pregnant. It’s been in the hands of my daughter as she played with the buttons & in a bag next to my son in the car.
710 Palestinian newborn babies have been killed by Israeli forces during the ongoing war in Gaza.

Today, we are reiterating our @QUBVChancellor's call for an immediate ceasefire in the #Palestinian territory of #Gaza.
We have met with various stakeholders to listen to the views of the communities and agree a way forward, which includes an enhanced student role in the University's overall decision-making structures and governance.
We will divest investments in companies that are listed by the #UN #HumanRights Council as carrying out listed activities in relation to #Palestine.
We are also willing to meet with all parties affected by the ongoing conflict and are working with a number of initiatives specifically developed to support academics and students at risk.

Spending today reflecting, as this week I turn 27 and my kidney turns 15. I feel very blessed to have gone from the child on the left to the women on the right. From dialysis every night to a life full of happiness. Organ donation saves lives, it saved mine!
