@WehliyeMohamed The truth is 53k is not enough to run even a C4 category school. Education in Kenya is a joke. Do those pretenders even know resources required to run a comptency-based curriculum?
@SokoAnalyst All goons operating in Nyanza are known by names and are funded by politicians. Attack on individuals and politicians not affiliated to certain political groups in Nyanza is not a new thing. Who attacked Magerer Lagat at an ODM function?
@Belive_Kinuthia@ray_omollo Those shouting loudest are part of the iron triangle of political violence that has maimed and killed many a people in Nyanza region. It is laughable that they now drag the name of the PS into the mix now that their political fortunes are dwindling. Shame!!
@wnyakera@rigathi Tribal posturing at its best! Display the figures here and also pinpoint the votes cast by GEMA nationalities and those by 'Kenyans in diaspora', a term i use to mean non-GEMA communities in GEMA strongholds.
When Raila was still alive, Winnie and her circle were still pushing him to run in 2027.
This was despite the fact that she had played a role in the bungling of the 2022 elections.
She had filled the campaign secretariat with her cool-kid friends who treated the campaign like a gap-year internship rather than a historic political mission.
Post 2022, Raila was already exhausted physically, emotionally, politically. He needed to be waned off politics slowly. For his health and longevity.
Yet Winnie and her groupies still wanted to drag the old man into another bruising contest, another round of national humiliation.
Today she has publicly embarrassed her uncle, Dr. Oburu Oginga, she’s showing no respect for his role as the new party leader of ODM.
Luos do not have to remain in ODM if the party cannot articulate a coherent path forward in the post-Raila era.
Our loyalty was for Raila, he’d worked hard for it. It can’t be passed down.
@HassanMcOjwang That is disrespectful to the person of Oburu Odinga who has been given the mandate of party leadership. Why have another meeting to decide who runs the broad-based arrangement? I can see the sole proprietorship going with the owner.
@Okiieli_@otienowill Let those who want to go to the streets do so. Everybody is busy blaming Ruto, including MPs and Governors who have used public resources for the benefit of their lap dogs and acolytes. Luos were loyal to Raila and not the later-day political quislings
@otienowill Bad things happened and especially before the ushering in of the new constitutional dispensation. It was convenient to blame the national governments of the time, but whom do we blame for our sorry state today. The love for noise making has blurred our collective psyche
@mwenda9819@ntvkenya Do they even know the colour of democracy. Wait until you are beaten like wild dog by their goons if you hold contrary opinion. What does devolution mean to you? Is financial propriety part of devolution?
@davidjesse_ The ODM pretenders will not know what hit them. They have basically ruined economies of the counties they run, yet they have the audacity to talk about credibility. What do they really smoke? The house of cards will fall like never before.
@MutembeiTV We have two levels of government courtesy of the constitution of Kenya 2010. How have county governments fared in terms of service delivery to the people? Are they accountable, and are resources under their custody used pragmatically? If Ruto has failed, so has Orengo and co.
@AnuarSaddat Competitive politics is about selling your wares in the political marketplace. Ruto is not the problem . ODM has been a party of the chosen few who are now confronted with the reality of competitive politics. The battle will be bruising and brutal. Tough times ahead!
@EtalePhilip Why should any sane person go to the streets. Some of those shouting the loudest are the biggest disappointments to the people of this Republic. Look at the way counties have been run-down courtesy of the noise makers.
@Asamoh_@orengo_james Those are hangovers of yester-years. These guys have been basking on the powerful shadows of Jakom, and they now feel exposed like fish on dry land. They talk about things they themselves don't believe. This is 2025 bwana!
@kwach123@orengo_james@TheODMparty I have heard that for the longest time, but it has always ended in tears. I have not even talked about Luos, but here you are talking about 'we Luos'. When and where did you hold the meeting where the position of 'we Luos' was taken?
@Kenyans These guys are just jostling for recognition by Ruto so that they can have it smooth in 2027. The majority of them got to those political positions through shortcuts, and they are basically scared of what the future holds. Raila orphans are going through great emotional turmoil
