Israel just murdered one of my closest friends, Dr. Khalil Bakheet.

Khalil went through numerous hardships to become a physician. His family put everything they had into his education. He went to study in Sudan's countryside, lived through the revolution, coup & civil war to graduate. Returned to Gaza & refused to leave to serve his duty & save lives.

He was one of the sweetest & kindest souls I know. His persistence & thoughtfulness were inspiring.
