1./ When an Indian-born person decides to move to the US, s/he does so knowing that there is a backlog and long wait times. Similarly, when tech companies such as Amazon and Microsoft hire this person, they do so knowing the facts about EB category GCs.

#EagleAct has a temporary solution. After the transtion, everybody including Indians would suffer.
I feel that you just want punish ROW.
ROW did not create your backlog.

Therefore, this bill would create backlog that contains 536k people.

Based on USCIS, in the normal situation such as 2019, ROW got 100k GCs. If you assumed that this amount of GCs is enough to not have backlog for ROW. After 9 FY, they should have 900k GCs.#NoEagleAct

This bill would solve backlog of Indians for 9 years. After this, everybody would stuck in line again.

I believe that #EagleAct would create another backlog for ROW during transition phase. Because the portion of GCs of ROW would decrease from 30% to 5% during transition. After 9 FY, we would encounter huge backlog again.
What would change?
