Just featured at the #1 Neurology journal @GreenJournal ✌️

More to come.. 🙂
A 66-year-old woman presented with progressive spastic #paraplegia and lumbar pain. Read the full article and download teaching slides (see footnotes): https://t.co/UZ1IfAicuB #NeurologyRF#neurology
@whitfieldlewis6@piandro3142 In our NRI department, we use carotid MRI when in doubt for small webs. Web-like structures sometimes appear as a result of flow artifacts and may be mistakenly labelled.
@SquatUniversity As a neuroradiologist, i wonder what his MRI would look like. For the curiosity of imaging-clinical correlation. It is always a challenge to determine if a disc bulge is somewhat relevant and the exam orders are rarely informant other than the complain side.
@daniel_gewolb Do you administer pre-bolus? If so, what percentage of total dose? Any use for Percentage Signal Recovery? I find it quite useful but don’t have a huge case list to make a case for it on my own hands
@daniel_gewolb Does look like an opportunistic infection - time for sputum analysis. Does the left temporal stroke correlate with vessel changes on MRA? Would expect some basal cistern leptomeningeal enhancement for TB
What a better 5-year comeback to Graduation Day at
@Med_UMinho than to be awarded for the most-cited paper in the last 5 years? Ex aequo award with @TorcatoMeira for the wild ride from @Columbia and @icvs_uminho wetlabs to @SNS_Portugal neuroradiology reporting rooms.
An ode to our profession! #radiology#radiologists...and we have made this the core ethos of how education is delivered @spinacademics.

@daniel_gewolb Ipsilateral hemispheric cortical swelling may also be notable post-reperfusion on NCCT, even in asymptomatic patients, and should raise suspicion for hyperperfusion
I’m really proud to have been awarded the “2022 Pfizer Award” on clinical research which recognises the work that I and my collaborators have been doing on searching for #brain imaging determinants of #Alzheimer’s disease neuropathology and primary age-related #tauopathy (1/4)
@AdrianoAguzzi @mickcraig101 I would use a loading control per gel/membrane, even if repeating samples across gels. Loading control can vary depending on conflict of size with proteins of interest (GAPDH, Tubulin, Actin, MAP2)
@BobFarese @SebastianBoland @_Sharan_Swarup@TobiWalther @jwadeharperlab @MET_HSPH Nice work! Any insights on cholesterol levels or sorting? I would be curious to know if alternative ILV mechanisms are upregulated and whether extracelular vesicle release if affected.
