Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
I think it's idiotic to overreact to a couple of elections in blue states, but a few thoughts:
1) Scot Pressler, TPUSA, and a bunch of others have been working hard to register voters. I said it in 2022, and I've said it repeatedly since: our coalition is "lower propensity" and that means we have to do better at turning out voters than we have in the past.
2) We need to focus on the home front. The president has done a lot that has already paid off in lower interest rates and lower inflation, but we inherited a disaster from Joe Biden and Rome wasn't built in a day. We're going to keep on working to make a decent life affordable in this country, and that's the metric by which we'll ultimately be judged in 2026 and beyond.
3) The infighting is stupid. I care about my fellow citizens--particularly young Americans--being able to afford a decent life, I care about immigration and our sovereignty, and I care about establishing peace overseas so our resources can be focused at home. If you care about those things too, let's work together.
SAN FRANCISCO:
The Democrats in charge here say there's no need for the National Guard, everything is fine.
Really? Over a decade of open air drug markets, Honduran fentanyl gangs roaming free, a beautiful city disfigured by chaos and squalor. Why should we put up with this?
Presidential Medal of Freedom. Yes Charlie, you EARNED IT. You will be remembered for ever as a great American leader. 🇺🇸
But I'll also remember you as a wonderful, loyal friend who was always such fun to be with. And yes I WILL do the Charlie Kirk diet!! Happy Birthday Charlie.
LOOK at this ridiculous mountain of bills the California legislature passed JUST THIS SESSION. 1,117 bills.
As governor, I won’t sign ANY bill that does not make life easier, simpler, and more affordable for California families and businesses.
Katie Porter just ripped the mask off. These California Democrat politicians are all like this. An arrogant, entitled ruling elite who think they’re above accountability for their failures.
We’re sick of them. That’s why I’ll win next year and we’ll have change in California. ✊
Charlie Kirk gave his life so that the rest of us would not have to suffer fates worse than death.
Now it’s our job, since he’s no longer there to lead us, to rush in and fill the breach, and win this battle for Country, for God and for our families.
This is the harvest of cancel culture—the stunted pace of idea generation and debate across the entire liberal ecosystem. And, by the way, you could make the same graphic for comedy.
San Francisco's call for accountable leadership, service, and change has been heard.
I am both humbled and inspired by the great honor and privilege of serving you—the people of San Francisco—as your next Mayor.
Thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly on this campaign, and to my wife Becca, our children, and my entire family for their unwavering support. Most importantly, thank you to the people of San Francisco for placing your trust in me.
Yesterday, I received a gracious call from Mayor London Breed, who offered her assistance during this transition. We’re both committed to working together to prepare for the hard work ahead.
I entered this race not as a politician, but as a father who couldn’t explain to my children what they were seeing on our streets. For my family, and for so many others, this campaign was about fighting for the city we love.
Together, we defied cynicism and proved that hope is alive and well in San Francisco. But hope alone isn’t enough. We must turn this hope into action and results.
Our mandate is clear: deliver clean and safe streets, address our drug and behavioral health crisis, shake up a corrupt bureaucracy, build housing that our neighbors can afford, support our hardworking small businesses, and revitalize our downtown. To achieve this, we must be courageous, compassionate, and honest.
I want to assure you that the administration we’re building will reflect the diversity, passion, and dedication of San Francisco itself. The people I hire will not serve me—they will serve you and your vision for a city that listens and delivers.
As we celebrate this victory, I know many of us feel deep concern about the state of our country. Under my watch, San Francisco will stand as a beacon of inclusivity and progress, committed to defending the rights of all of our neighbors. We will address the challenges of our times with integrity and compassion.
As your mayor, I will take aim at the problems that need solving right here in San Francisco, because that is what the people of this city have elected me to do.
Together, we must roll up our sleeves. Because when San Francisco wins, we all win. I am deeply grateful for your belief in me, and I am more hopeful than ever that San Francisco, the city we love, will rise again.
HYPOCRISY ALERT: Sacramento politicians voted for AB 1441 to impose a Citizen Redistricting Commission in Merced County while they push Prop 50 to abolish the statewide Citizens commission. Then I was interrupted, but I think that’s the first interruption of my speech that’s in order.
You can’t make this stuff up — it’s the position of the Governor’s Office that we should have competed with our county for limited dollars to start a new service that would have cost more than the grant we could have received. (1/2)

While some in the media try to make my critiques personal and the Sacramento establishment attempts to trivialize dissent, I won’t stay quiet about the state’s failure to implement Prop 36 and address repeat offenders, its recent cuts to critical homelessness funding, and the painfully slow expansion of mental health and addiction treatment. I don’t hate the Governor — but I love California. That gives me not just the right but the responsibility to make it the best it can be. (1/2) https://t.co/JSf3bsvQqG
JUST NOW: I can join @AGPamBondi and @TheJusticeDept in announcing the arrest of over 200 alleged child sex predators in the last week.
For the last week, the FBI and DOJ have been quietly surging operations across 55 field offices to take down criminals who target kids.
We called this “Operation Restore Justice.”
Our agents, support teams and partners did excellent work — rescuing 115 children across the country in the process. Their work undoubtedly saved lives and protected vulnerable kids from further horrific crimes.
Operation Restore Justice is a powerful message: If you harm children in America, you will be given no sanctuary. There is nowhere you can hide.
You will be hunted down, and you will be prosecuted.
