@moonlighba3e You have no argument. There is consensus among all four madhabs that a father can marry off his daughter without her consent before she hits puberty. Cope and stop trying to change our religion
If you look at the books of fiqh, you find the hanafis differing with the other madhabs over whether rinsing the mouth is fard or not.
On the topic of child marriage, all the four madhabs have the same mu'tamad position towards it.
Can Young Girls Be Designated Nisāʾ? Al-Ṭabarī’s Linguistic Discussion
The Imām, Muḥaddith, Mufassir, and Mujtahid, Abū Jaʿfar Muḥammad ibn Jarīr al-Ṭabarī (224–310 AH / 839–923 CE), writes:
“Now, according to the interpretation transmitted from Ibn ʿAbbās, Abū al-ʿĀliyah, al-Rabīʿ ibn Anas, and al-Suddī concerning His saying, ‘and they spared your women,’ namely, that they refrained from killing the female children at the moment of their birth, it necessarily follows that a female infant may, during the days of her childhood and immediately after her birth, be designated an imraʾah (‘woman’), and that young girls whilst yet children may be comprehended under the appellation nisāʾ (‘women’), for they understood the saying of Allāh, Mighty and Majestic is He, ‘and they spared your women’ to mean:
‘They left the female offspring alive at birth and did not kill them.’”
He further clarifies:
“The expression, ‘and they spared your women,’ was employed because the young girls were included together with their mothers, and their mothers were, beyond all dispute, women among those who were spared. Since Pharaoh’s people refrained from killing the young females and the older women, Allāh said, ‘and they spared your women,’ thereby intending both the mothers and the daughters newly born to them, just as one might say, ‘The men have arrived,’ even though there are young boys amongst them. Thus likewise is His saying:
‘and they spared your women.’”
— Jāmiʿ al-Bayān fī Tafsīr al-Qurʾān, commentary on Qurʾān 2:49, vol. 2, pp. 46, 48.
Conclusion:
Imām al-Ṭabarī's discussion leaves little room for the claim that the term nisāʾ is lexically restricted to mature, adult females. On the contrary, he explicitly maintains that female children may be designated nisāʾ, whether the term is applied to them alone or collectively alongside adult women. Indeed, he illustrates this as a recognised feature of Arabic usage, drawing an analogy with the expression, “The men have arrived,” despite the presence of young boys amongst them. His discussion therefore demonstrates that the collective noun nisāʾ may legitimately encompass young girls where the context so requires, and that no linguistic obstacle exists to such usage.
@moonlighba3e Adding under here: In classical Islamic jurisprudence, marrying off a minor girl was a legally binding nikah, not a betrothal. The schools allowed consummation prior to puberty based on physical capacity (9 for Hanbalis), proving it was fully executed.
You are clearly a bint infected by feminism.
“using religion to harm girls. some people’s religious moral compass is rotten”
Our morals come DIRECTLY from Allah, and it is clear that Allah did not set any minimum age for marriage
Keep your feminism away from our pure religion
disgusting woman. she’s an agent for men who want to prey on young girls. they present themselves as defying “western standards,” but in reality they’re just pick mes who enable men to abuse girls. using religion to harm girls. some people’s religious moral compass is rotten.
Salafi women are gold because they understand Sharia. They don’t oppose polygamy, they stay at home, they wear the niqab, and they avoid free mixing, whether at university or online.
@vellibandii You sisters want a traditional provider who funds your lifestyle but the second anyone mentions obedience or keeping a home you turn into feminist liberals
The hadith rejector women on TikTok are MOSSAD plants until proven otherwise.
They should not be taken from, they should not be allowed to speak and they should be shunned from the community until they repent.
Muslims should be DONE with giving a platform to these blasphemers.
@TweetyGazelle It’s not her body, she needs to cover up to protect the honour of her father, brothers and husband. Stop using feminism to justify the deen of Allah.
