NCRDC Class Action Suit in 2016 under Appeal No 10856/2016 for full refunds with interest as per BBA was turned down by Supreme Court in 2016 with noble intentions of handing over flats to home buyers
More than 6 years after becoming a Govt of India co, only 1007 families were handed over flats against estimated 20000 families. Retired IAS Officer and Unitech CMD Mr Yudhvir Singh(appointed by GOI ) did very little other than biding time. His KPI was Salary Withdrawal on 13th of every month showcasing his commitments for cash starved co. Severe irregularities were also carried on brazenly. We wonder how an English and Mass Communications trained IAS officer inspite of years of experience can work hands-on in a complex Construction project when Civil and Structural Engg expertise is called for! Likewise Retired Judge Justice Sapre.
Such kind of well engineered funds siphoning could not have happened without active collaboration of Bureaucrats, Ministries, Licensing Authorities etc. Why common middle class citizens who are law abiding tax compliant citizens have to be punished for the same?
The loot may have been initiated in last UPA regime with India's leading Ministers and most eminent Lawyers defending promoters and letting litigation prolong to engineer fool proof laundering but what has the current #BJP Govt in power since 2014 done? Lipservice, false assurances, toothless #RERA legislation , #CMDURBARS and passage of time and several years? If culprits for recent #NEET paper leaks have to take accountability, so has the Govt for this major fraud of Home Buyers. Otherwise pl tell the world that once cheated even with Govt collusion in India, nothing can be done
If Amprapalli and other fraud and cheat realtors in India had to rope in NBCC and professional Construction Engg companies, why leave Unitech to a corrupt IAS officer who has left after 6 years recently
If Economic Office Wing(EOW) and Enforement Directorate(ED) could only recover USD 120 Million, it is a no brainer that Govt has to pump in funds to complete the projects. Simply lingering on with review meetings and PPT presentations will not help
Buyers who went for refunds switched to possession after GOI take over and provision of opportunity and paid all funds received. All buyers have paid funds as demanded as projects progressed. But what is the bottom line? A headless co today with no clarity from GOI or SC on next steps
Must the balance home buyers be given flats posthumously like a Gallantry award?Will sufferings, financial difficulties for honest educated tax compliant citizens never end?
We request and plead with Supreme Court to atleast grant a Class Action Euthanasia suit as we cannot take it any more
We also appeal to all to let a Co like NBCC take over and let Govt pump in funds-a hollow emaciated business group with land parcel/realty assets already pledged.
Can we see hard action plan for 20000 pan India cheated Home Buyers who have been living in misery for last 18 years +, have become old and retired with hundreds severely afflicted with old age problems to get us our homes?

Educator and climate activist Sonam Wangchuk's health has reportedly deteriorated as his indefinite hunger strike entered its 15th day. According to doctors, his blood pressure has dropped further, and he has lost 7.8 kg since the fast began. Meanwhile, the CJP protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar over alleged examination irregularities entered its 23rd day.

The organisation said Wangchuk's latest health readings indicate a blood pressure of 104/66 mm Hg. It also stated that several political leaders and public intellectuals were expected to visit the protest site to express solidarity with the ongoing agitation.
