@IncomeSharks The AI capex trade keeps working until the numbers stop justifying the spend
then that liquidity will look for a new home fast. Capital rotation into BTC could move quicker than people expect. Crypto will have a short party too then!

@jameslavish Real estate maxis are in for a rude awakening — the whole playbook ran on 40 years of falling rates. That trendline just snapped. Cap rates don’t lie!!!
BTC weekly: $63,608. OBV update.
This is the chart I've been watching most closely. Here's what it shows.
Price action since the ATH:
Oct 2025 high: $123,217
Today: $63,608
Drawdown: -48%
OBV since the ATH:
Peak: ~4.85M
Today: ~4.45M
Still above the prior cycle low.
Here's why that matters.
Price is making lower lows.
OBV has not confirmed those lows yet.
It's approaching the line.
But it hasn't broken it.
If price continues lower toward $54,010
and OBV holds above ~4.35M —
That's a textbook bullish divergence.
The signal I've been waiting for
since this correction began.
Not there yet. Getting close.
When the price and obv will diverge — I'll post it here.

My reaction on @BloombergTV is below.
Two takeaways.
9 - 3 vote. Dissents are the new forward guidance.
I think when we get to the end of the Warsh term as Fed Chairman, we're going to see a vast majority of the meetings were 11-1 or 12-0 votes.
But when they are moving to change policy, dissents are the forward guidance that tells you the Fed is about to go a different direction.
What Changed?
Bob Michael of JP Morgan asked what changed. He asked why the Fed would hike rates because the data didn't really move that much from June, when we had a 12-0 vote. Correct.
I would argue what changed is the way that the Fed now operates. It's no longer the chairman dictating and everybody doing what he tells them. They are now independent, and this hawkishness was always there; this desire to raise rates was always there. It was just not allowed to be expressed or acted on. Now it is.
That's what's changed.
They called it dead at $1.
At $200. At $3,000. At $16,000.
Today they're calling it dead at $59,000.
At some point you have to ask -
what exactly does dead look like to these people?
Bitcoin has never missed a block. Never asked permission. Never needed a bailout.
While every fiat currency in history
has trended toward zero —
Bitcoin has trended toward adoption.
Bear markets don't disprove Bitcoin.
They filter who actually understands it.
Stay humble at the highs.
Stay patient at the lows.
Stack either way.
The mission hasn't changed.
Financial freedom for anyone with
an internet connection.
That's worth more than today's price. We have been here before, Stay strong freaks!

BTC weekly: $59,582.
Here is what Ichimoku weekly actually shows:
Price below the cloud.
Price below the Kijun.
Chikou Span in open space.
OBV is currently confirming the move down.
No bullish divergence yet.
I won't pretend the chart is healthy because it isn't.
Price is currently in open air between
$65,213 resistance above
and $54,010 support below.
No clean structure in between.
The one signal I'm waiting for before
changing my bias:
Weekly OBV divergence — price makes a
new low, OBV holds above its prior base.
That hasn't appeared yet.
When it does — I'll post it here.
Until then the structure says one thing:
patience over conviction.

Norges Bank holder renten. 4,25%.
I've been following Norwegian macro long
enough to know — read the words, not the number.
Today's words: unchanged guidance, August
still in play, inflation still too high.
USDNOK daily chart is telling a story
right now.
Price spiked from 9.15 → 9.73 in one move.
Bullish TK cross confirmed on the daily.
Price back above the Kumo after weeks below it.
9.60 is now the structural level to watch.
Hold above 9.60 = dollar recovery vs NOK intact.
Break below 9.55 daily close = spike was a fakeout.
August Norges Bank meeting is now the
next live catalyst.
That's what I'm watching.

FOMC: Fed holds at 3.50–3.75%. As expected.
But the real story isn't the rate — it's who delivered it.
This was Kevin Warsh's first meeting as Fed Chair.
And he just stripped the easing bias from the statement.
Markets were pricing cuts in 2026.
Half of former Fed officials surveyed now say a HIKE
is more likely than a cut this year.
Inflation is "elevated." Energy prices rising on
Middle East tensions. The Fed just told you the
printer isn't coming to save anyone soon.
For Bitcoin, a hawkish new Chair removing rate-cut
language is a near-term macro headwind. Tighter
for longer = less liquidity tailwind.
The Fed just told you the printer isn't
coming to save anyone soon.
Bitcoin doesn't have a Chair. That's the point.

5,000 years of empires built on soft money.
Every one of them failed.
21 million. No exceptions. No bailouts.
No printers. No kings.
This is why we're here.
