Another set of people who want to be heroes here, usually the left, but not at their expense, they want people's tax money and resources, hijacking government which is meant to equal for its citizens. That's where the reservation came from.

A person I know earned ₹48 lakh last financial year and paid close to ₹9.4 lakh in income tax.

He lost his job in December and now has to pay taxes at one of the most vulnerable times of his life.

India has almost no social security. No matter how much tax you pay, the moment you lose your job, the government won't support you.

Instead, the same tax money is redirected into freebie schemes where the priority is distributing ₹2,000 or ₹4,000 to different voter groups.

No wonder brain drain is at its highest.
