आज मुंबई महानगरपालिका सभागृहात १४ फुटांवरील झोपड्यांवरील कारवाईच्या मुद्द्यावर चर्चा झाली. या चर्चेत महाराष्ट्र नवनिर्माण सेनेचे नगरसेवक व गटनेते श्री. यशवंत किल्लेदार @YKilledar यांनी अत्यंत अभ्यासपूर्ण आणि आक्रमक भाषण करत सत्ताधाऱ्यांना थेट सवाल केले.

निवडणुकीपूर्वी “अनधिकृत बांधकामे पाडून टाकू” म्हणणारी भाजपा, सत्तेत आल्यानंतर मात्र अनधिकृत बांधकामे वाचवण्यासाठी आयुक्तांना जाब विचारतेय, हा नेमका काय प्रकार? हा सगळा प्रसिद्धीसाठी सुरू असलेला फार्स तर नाही ना?

असा थेट सवाल करत श्री. किल्लेदार यांनी सभागृह नेता आणि आयुक्तांना महापालिकेच्या कामकाजाची योग्य पद्धतही समजावून सांगितली.

This is just an example of how Gyanesh Kumar has completely hijacked the system, making it centralised, violating every law & constitutional norms.

If he has the audacity to block an SC order like this, imagine what he must be doing in Bihar or Bengal or Maharashtra in the name of SIR.

Only a SC monitored audit of voter id system can bring the whole truth now.

So the ECI has now responded to the @IndianExpress investrigation by saying that internal observations are a normal part of deliberation, that its decisions follow the law, that its digital systems have security controls, and that the Commission's decisions over the past year were unanimous.

However, the press note (attached) does not appear to answer several of the specific questions raised in the investigation.

In particular:

Were the reported 14 objections actually recorded, and what was the disposition of each?
What was the specific legal basis for the changes to Form-6, particularly after objections were recorded by Commissioners?
What happened to the concerns regarding centralisation of electoral-roll database access and IT control?
What is the ECI's explanation for the reported Goa case involving 97 voters?
Who authorised the appeals concerning voters whose inclusion had been restored, and under what procedure?
What were the circumstances behind the reported communications to the Cabinet Secretary?
Were any communications issued in the name of the Commission without the requisite approval, as reported?

The distinction seems important: saying that final decisions were unanimous does not, by itself, explain what happened to objections raised during the decision-making process.

It may therefore be useful for @ECISVEEP to provide a point-by-point, documentary clarification on these matters rather than treating the general press note as a complete response to the investigation.

Given the importance of electoral institutions, these questions are worth being placed on the public record and answered transparently.

माझं सर्व महाराष्ट्र सैनिकांना आणि नागरिकांना आवाहन आहे, ती लहान मुलं आहेत, निष्पाप आहेत... त्यामुळे आसपास असं काहीही दिसलं, तर ते तिथल्या तिथे थांबवा! त्या कुटुंबाला जी काही मदत हवी असेल ती आपण आपल्या परीने करू, मी स्वतःसुद्धा त्यांच्या पाठीशी उभा राहीन. पण लहान मुलांचं असं शोषण अजिबात होऊ देऊ नका.
हे चित्र आपल्याला बदलायचंच आहे... जिथे असं दिसेल, तिथे ही गोष्ट त्वरित थांबवा!

तब्बल २० दिवस!

ज्या माणसाने देशासाठी, आपल्या सैनिकांसाठी आणि लडाखच्या जनतेसाठी उभं आयुष्य वेचलं, ते सोनम वांगचुक सर दिल्लीत विद्यार्थ्यांच्या हक्कासाठी उपोषणाला बसतात... आणि हे सरकार काय करतं? त्यांच्या मागण्यांवर चर्चा करण्याऐवजी, पांढरा पडदा आडवा धरून त्यांना थेट उचलून नेतात? लाज वाटली पाहिजे या व्यवस्थेला! हा पोलिसांचा उघड गैरवापर आणि सरळ सरळ दडपशाही आहे.

आज देशातल्या लाखो विद्यार्थ्यांच्या आयुष्याची आणि करिअरची जी वाट लावून ठेवली आहे, त्याला पूर्णपणे केंद्रीय शिक्षणमंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान जबाबदार आहेत. ज्या परीक्षेवर देशातील लाखो विद्यार्थ्यांचे डॉक्टर बनण्याचे स्वप्न अवलंबून होतं, तिथे पेपर करोडो रुपयांना विकले जातात, एकाच सेंटरवरून अनेक रँकर्स निघतात आणि ग्रेस मार्क्सचा उघड घोळ घातला जातो. परीक्षा घेण्यापासून ते निकाल लावण्यापर्यंत प्रत्येक टप्प्यावर विद्यार्थ्यांच्या भविष्याशी खेळ सुरू आहे. देशात एवढं मोठं आंदोलन सुरू असताना, लाखो कुटुंबांचा जीव टांगणीला लागलेला असताना, या व्यवस्थेत कोणी उत्तरदायित्व घ्यायला तयार नाही का? साधी चर्चा करण्याचीसुद्धा तयारी या सरकारची नसावी? ही कसली लोकशाही?

हा विषय राजकीय नाही, तर सामाजिक आहे. ज्या जनतेने सत्ता दिली, आज त्याच जनतेचा आवाज दाबला जातोय. हा लढा फक्त दिल्लीपुरता मर्यादित राहून चालणार नाही, या दडपशाहीविरोधातला आक्रोश आता देशभर पेटला पाहिजे! विद्यार्थ्यांना न्याय मिळेपर्यंत महाराष्ट्र नवनिर्माण सेना विद्यार्थ्यांच्या आणि वांगचुक सरांच्या पाठीशी खंबीरपणे उभी आहे.
