Biggest Breaking News: Operation 12th August

So what was Amit Shah doing during the Parliament session?
Where was he?

Here is the answer.

Probably the biggest operation in Indian history after Operation Octopus (the PFI crackdown) was carried out on 12th August under the full monitoring of Amit Shah.

An ISI-backed, Pakistan-based gangster and terrorist had created a terror network in India (the Shahzad Bhatti Network / Tehreek-e-Taliban Hindustan) using social media to radicalise Indian Muslims.

He and his network had been on the radar since last November. He had hired 250+ people into his network, and they were planning terrorist attacks across India on 15th August. The plan was to turn Independence Day into Mayhem Day.

On the night of 12th August, while you were sleeping, security agencies across 14 states launched a joint operation and arrested 253 operatives from all over India. This operation was kept completely secret.

One question keeps coming to my mind: Was Congress aware of this operation through inputs from Pakistan?

The way Congress targeted Amit Shah from 1st to 12th August and remained adamant about bringing him to Parliament to speak raises serious doubts.

After 12th August, Rahul Gandhi appeared unusually angry with Amit Shah. Was this the reason? I don’t know.

Indians will probably never fully know how many times Modi and Shah have quietly saved their lives.

I always thought Rahul Gandhi was incompetent. Today he demonstrated something uglier: a breathtaking absence of class.

Mock Modi all you want. Attack his policies, his politics, his foreign policy, mercilessly, if you can make the argument. But dragging Giorgia Meloni into a juvenile innuendo and laughing along reduces the Prime Minister of Italy from a serious elected leader to a prop in a cheap boys’ joke.

That isn’t wit. It isn’t political satire. And it certainly isn’t statesmanship.

The most revealing thing about such jokes is not what they say about Modi or Meloni. It is what they reveal about the men making them, their instinctive attitude towards women, their intellectual shallowness and the level to which they are willing to drag political discourse for a few laughs.

India deserves an opposition capable of intellectually dismantling the government when it gets things wrong. Instead, its Leader of Opposition stands on a stage laughing at schoolboy innuendo involving the female Prime Minister of a friendly country.

Consider this hypothetical: a man named Bablu is caught breaking into a house, and the community demands consequences for his actions. Almost immediately, a coordinated effort begins on social media. One group starts painting Bablu as an impoverished victim of circumstances who was simply misguided. A second group shifts the focus entirely, arguing that politicians, judges, and bureaucrats commit far larger crimes with total impunity, so why single out poor Bablu? A third group takes a moral high ground, shaming anyone demanding justice by asking where their outrage was during higher-profile scandals.

Now Bablu is the true victim, supporting him becomes the trendy stance, and those original voices calling for accountability are guilted into silence. This step-by-step deflection is precisely how mass manipulation functions.

Applying this back to the real world, what Ruchika Singh did remains fundamentally wrong. The reality that powerful individuals routinely escape justice for far worse offenses does not magically transform her into a victim. If she is an adult, she bear the moral responsibility for her actions. If she is a minor (though serious doubts remain as to whether the individual in the viral video claiming to be 15 is actually her or perhaps a relative) the moral responsibility falls on her parents. Yes, she should not face legal action but the masses should know that what she did was wrong and not see her as victim. That's it.

Ultimately, one wrong can never be labeled right simply because greater wrongs occur elsewhere. If we accept the logic that lower-level wrongdoing is excusable as long as bigger criminals walk free, the entire fabric of personal accountability collapses, and literally any crime could be defended by simply pointing to a more severe, unpunished offense. Allowing rhetorical misdirection to obscure basic right from wrong only serves to protect bad behavior at every level of society.

An American woman was staying in Mumbai when she needed to get a blood test done.

She did what most Americans would do. She called a diagnostic lab, expecting to book an appointment, travel there, wait in line, get the test done, and then return home.

But the lab simply asked for her address and said that someone would come to collect the sample.

She asked if there was an additional fee for the doorstep blood sample collection.

She was surprised to hear that the answer was no.

She then decided to make a video about her experience. In the video, she said that a similar service in the USA is typically much more expensive, making the experience in India feel unusual from her perspective.

Every country has its flaws, including India. But sometimes, we should also share the stories that reflect India's strengths. In a time when organized negative narratives against India spread so easily on social media, genuine positive experiences deserve to be heard too.

Some thoughts on #ViksitBharatBudget 2026

India’s Union Budget 2026 is not a budget of announcements.

It is a budget of architecture.

This is not about one sector, one scheme, or one year.
It is about locking India into a long growth corridor till 2047.

Three things stand out.
1. Action over Ambivalence. Reform over Rhetoric. People over Populism.

At a time when much of the world is drifting towards fiscal adventurism, India has chosen restraint without sacrificing ambition.

• Growth around ~7%
• Fiscal deficit down to ~4.3%
• Debt-to-GDP on a clear glide path
• Capex rising steadily

Stability is not accidental; it is designed.

2. Manufacturing + Services + Agriculture: not silos, but a system

Budget 2026 finally treats the economy as a linked value chain, not disconnected ministries.
On manufacturing:

• Semiconductor Mission 2.0
• Rare earths, magnets, aircraft parts, defence MRO
• Revival of 200 legacy industrial clusters
• Bonded zones, safe harbours, deferred duties: quiet but powerful enablers

On services:
• Medical value tourism hubs
• Cloud & data centre tax certainty till 2047
• AVGC labs in schools and colleges
• IT safe harbour rationalisation, less litigation, more scale

On agriculture & allied sectors:
• Fisheries, horticulture, cashew & cocoa, coconut missions
• AI-driven AgriStack integration
• Focus on value chains, not just MSP headlines

This is how you move from production to productivity.

3. Yuva Shakti as economic infrastructure

This budget understands a simple truth:
Demography is not destiny unless it is skilled, mobile and confident.

University townships near industrial corridors.
Girls’ hostels in STEM institutions in every district.
Care economy training for 1.5 lakh caregivers.
Sports, design, tourism, health, treated as serious job engines, not side notes.
Human capital is being planned with the same seriousness as highways and freight corridors.

4. Trust-based governance goes mainstream
One of the most under-appreciated shifts:

• Decriminalisation of procedural tax offences
• Automated, rule-based approvals
• Longer validity of advance rulings
• Faster APAs, simpler returns, rational TDS/TCS
• Customs moving from control to confidence
This is not “ease of doing business” as a slogan.

Budget 2026 will not excite those who look for giveaways.
It will reassure those who understand statecraft.

It is a budget that assumes India’s rise is inevitable but only if policy remains patient, boring, and relentless.
That, arguably, is the hardest kind of leadership.
