This mother's observation is so important! Some teachers were able to adapt to virtual teaching and some children were able to adapt to virtual learning. Others weren't. Which is why there is such discourse. Teachers and children are experiencing this differently

Our CPS elementary school did specials by quarter so my 1st grader had PE for Q2...it was a long 30 minutes every day. I can't say his plank improved.

I think this realization doesn't apply to parents of special ed students only. Remote learning was eye-opening for us, parents a 1st grader at a CPS north side school.
