'Exactly one week ago, these 3 dogs were found and caught by police near Coalpit Lane, Monks Kirby, Rugby. A video and photos were widely circulated on social media at that time, of the police containing the dogs to protect them from a very fast main road.
At that time, with no DLO immediately available, they were taken to the police kennels to be assessed.

Our concern is that either a) the dogs escaped, or ran off, and the owner has been afraid to come forward incase he/she would be in trouble; b) these dogs were abandoned because the owner thought they may be type, perhaps with pressure from family or friends.

They are in good condition and sociable so have obviously been loved. We understand the law around BSL & the ban on XL Bullies has been especially difficult to interpret, and has lead to confusion for so many people. It has been terrifying for those who genuinely loved their dogs and have been faced with sudden costs for neuters/exemptions etc. I repeat, your dogs have been assessed professionally, and are NOT type.
What are their real names? We've called them Baloo, Lotsa and Little John (ironically LJ is the biggest). They seem to have no health issues, are good weights, and never stop wagging their tails. Please tell us what happened. Maybe we can help?
