This week we visited Amma, a WCK partner restaurant in NYC! Amma means mother in Hindi. Owner Anju—who goes by Amma to most at the restaurant—& her husband Dave have operated in Manhattan for nearly 20 years. They told us they were grateful to be making meals for their community.
This past month has become increasingly hard. India was once our home, and still is for the extended families of so many of our guests and teammates.
We will be contributing to local organizations on the ground working to solve the healthcare crisis right now. #helpindia
We stand in solidarity with our Asian brothers, sisters and community. This hate speech and violence cannot and will not be tolerated.
We all belong here. #stopasianhate
We made some Indian style chicken and paneer tacos to feed people at the polls this week in Queens.
Grateful for @wckitchen and their continued efforts to serve the community through the power of food.

Outdoor dining has been a hit in New York City. But many restaurant owners say the industry faces “apocalyptic” times without indoor dining. https://t.co/9FNElCpE2R
