ISRAEL IS A THREAT TO HUMANITY, NOT IRAN

Who is the bigger threat to humanity, Iran or Israel? In this video, British-Israeli professor Avi Shlaim addresses this question head-on by highlighting Israel's destructive role in its region and its nuclear capacities. According to an Al-Jazeera article published in 2025, Israel attacked more countries last year than any other country on earth. These countries include Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, Qatar, Syria, Yemen, and waters belonging to Tunisia, Malta, and Greece. This amounted to 10,631 attacks in one year alone.

Unlike Iran, which adheres to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, promising not to develop nuclear weapons, Israel boasts of at least 80 nuclear warheads and possibly up to 400. Israel has long refused to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and remains evasive regarding questions concerning its nuclear capabilities.

So, which country is more dangerous for the world? The one with highly advanced weapons of mass destruction that attacks relentlessly or the one with an anti-imperialist track record that attacks when provoked or to defend Palestinians and other oppressed peoples? Let us know in the comments.

Today, Trump postponed striking Iran’s energy infrastructure out of fear of fluctuations in U.S market prices. Yet for over twenty days, he has watched Gulf societies come under Iranian missile strikes, as Gulf economies incur tens of billions of dollars in damages - without this prompting any change in his decisions.

When the Qatari Minister of Energy warned his American counterpart that striking Iran’s gas fields would inevitably trigger retaliatory strikes against gas fields in the Gulf, he was disregarded. They attacked Iran anyway, leaving the Gulf states to face their fate alone against Iranian missiles.

Striking Iran’s gas fields did not create any strategic advantage, but rather inflicted massive losses upon the Gulf’s energy sector, which ultimately benefits American gas companies.

Trump only speaks about the Strait of Hormuz or the price of oil. In his eyes, the Gulf societies are barely worth a single barrel of crude.

Three initial reactions to U.S. attack on Iran:
1. U.S. may have destroyed enrichment infrastructure but no evidence it destroyed stockpiles.
2. Khamenei will not easily accept unconditional surrender. Some form of retaliation likely. This is not end point.
3. Nationalist anger will go beyond this moment as did 1953 coup
4. No country will feel safe. Many more countries will be thinking about getting the bomb. It is US and not Iran that has shattered the non proliferation regime.

To note:
1. Damage assessment report is yet to come - things will get clear in next 12 hours.
2. There were reports from Iran that before US' strikes Fordow had been cleared & its material moved to different location
3. It seems Trump ordered the strikes under Israel & Israel lobby pressure.
4. I doubt Iran has got intimidated by US strikes, it was expecting these to happen
So, the world waits to see what Iran will do which depends on what Israel does: will it halt its air campaign or continue with it? This is the key question!
