Attended a very interesting 3 Minute Thesis talk at UCL today.

An 80,000 word thesis that would take 9 hours to present condensed into 3 minutes on 1 slide.

Might put myself out there for my Masters thesis to learn a thing or two about communicating science to a lay audience.😬

Just found out I got a FIRST in my undergraduate dissertation!!!!!

If you remember my tweets or even saw me during those days, you know how mentally draining this was for me.

it’s Mendeley!! only been using it about a week but trust me it’s soo good. put myself thru so much unnecessary stress for 3 years by referencing last minute even tho my academic advisor told me to get it in first year😂

Thoughts on the briefing today, and the path ahead. While the govt has finally announced a national lockdown + schools moving to remote learning, the path ahead is likely going to be long and tumultuous, unless the govt adopts a longer-term strategy for control. Thread.

@dOnTamLittyyy an assimilation of different concepts across dif lectures. You’ll know where to look when trying to answer the essay question if you know what topics are discussed within each set of lectures.

That’s the pattern our alternative assessments followed last year x

@dOnTamLittyyy Just make sure you’ve gone over all the content and are familiar with all the concepts (you dont need to know everything inside out). The essay questions are most probs gonna be open ended so you’re not gonna find the ‘answers’ in one specific lecture, it’s gonna be-
