I am attending the first IADF School on Computer Vision for Earth Observation
A great opportunity to learn from the experts, with a lot of interesting sessions and hands-on exercises!

The 2nd talk of the IADF School CV4EO is on Change Detection (with a practical session on TorchGeo) by @calebrob6. Watch it here: https://t.co/sjM1b6ngwj
Excited to share that i have successfully defended my PhD dissertation! I canโt thank enough @UCRWater for the guidance through these 4 years and helping me grow as a researcher. Thank you to family, friends, and mentors for supporting me in this amazing journey!
Aerial view of one of the irrigation management trials from @UCRWater lab, here we are using a remote sensing approach to evaluate the impact of varying rates of irrigation on the growth and health of landscape groundcovers.
Congratulations to UCRWATER Ph.D. candidate Amninder Singh (@amnindersahota) for publishing his second Ph.D. dissertation paper!

The fact that these bills were passed so hurriedly using a voice vote despite the demand for a division vote by the opposition, raises serious questions on the functioning of the Indian Parliamentary democracy.
So let's do it for the farmers. Let's do it for democracy.
If farmers would have to struggle for their livelihood, it will make it virtually impossible to tackle other problems like depleting groundwater, fertilizer and pesticide overuse, loan-sharks, and farmer suicides that already exist in the agricultural system.
Congratulations to UCRWATER Ph.D. candidate Amninder Singh (@amnindersahota) for publishing his first Ph.D. dissertation paper! https://t.co/MSP925NgbJ
A new paper from @ucrwater lab on bermudagrass irrigation management is now out. This paper introduces the regression-based turfgrass water response function that estimates the response of turfgrass to different irrigation strategies.๐https://t.co/sYzX48lB1u
Thanks @UCRWater Amir, Don, Anish and Amninder for your informative talks at yesterday's @UCANR Urban Landscape Field Day at UCR. Great example of sharing highly technical research results using user-friendly terms.
Another successful drone flight at our turfgrass irrigation plots at @UCSouthCoast. Me and @aanishsapkota been collecting data over last few weeks including TDR soil moisture and handheld remote sensing measurements. Looking forward to some exciting results @UCRWater
Our new @ucanr โSmart Weather-Based Irrigation Controllerโ publication is hot off the press! Download a free copy here: https://t.co/Oqwn6bOJPS. Amninder Singh, Amir Haghverdi, Mehdi Nemadi are a great team to work with!
