I just got back from a short vacation and saw this post.

I understand the frustration, especially for those who saw YT-sKAITO as their path into the CBID ecosystem.

Here are some of my thoughts.

First, I understand the frustration. But let’s try to be fair and look closer:

To reach BID Level 3 without yapping or staking agent, you need:

- Around 60,000 $BID+ (~$7k8)

- With KAITO: 5,000 $KAITO (~$7k6)

- Meanwhile, 5,000 YT-sKAITO, which some people bought for just ~$600, seemed like a clever shortcut.

Not only that, YT-sKAITO holders also received airdrops from Kaito ecosystem projects between purchase and July 31.

For $600, they likely already received an airdrop from NEWTON or HUMANITY PROTOCOL, offsetting some of the cost.

And they might still be eligible to receive an additional airdrop from KAITO if it happens before July 31.

With the YT-sKAITO price dropping, $165 now gets you 5,000 tokens.

Imagine everyone buying YT-sKAITO with second wallets, or exploiting the loophole by creating dozens of wallets to stake before the V2 launch.

What would happen?

This is no longer just about individual fairness.

It’s about protecting the $BID Flywheel, maintaining trust and ensuring fairness for those who followed the rules from the start.

The team had to make a tough decision. I believe it was the right one.

Removing YT-sKAITO wasn’t a betrayal.

It was meant to protect early believers, those who staked real $BID, held $KAITO, and supported CBID through uncertain times.

If I were in their shoes, I’d have made the same call.
