H.E. President @HassanSMohamud received the Commander of U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), General Dagvin R.M. Anderson.
They discussed further strengthening Somalia–U.S. cooperation in areas including security, counterterrorism, and the promotion of regional peace and stability.
The President commended AFRICOM’s critical role in supporting Somalia’s efforts to degrade terrorist capabilities and reaffirmed it’s commitment to advancing security sector development in close collaboration with its international partners.

The two leaders discussed strengthening Somalia–Uganda bilateral relations in key areas, including security cooperation, and regional peace and development.
They also exchanged views ahead of tomorrow’s AUSSOM Troop Contributing Countries Summit, reaffirming their shared commitment to advancing Somalia’s security, stability and state-building efforts.

Farah Abdulkadir Mohamed, who had promised to expose Somalia’s Puntland President Said Deni’s secret investments in Zambia to the public, has sparked a major scandal after traveling to the country and sharing a photo with Dahir Kilwe, general manager of Deni’s operations there. Instead of investigating the corruption allegations, Gaylan Media (which is known to be funded by the UAE and notorious for spreading disinformation and smear campaigns against Türkiye) is now accused of being silenced in exchange for luxury vehicles and financial incentives.

NEW: Said Deni, the President of Somalia's Puntland region, traveled to the UAE ahead of the Eid holiday. Sources close to Deni have confirmed that he is currently in Tel Aviv, facilitating meetings with the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, through the mediation of the Emirates.
