At the end of February, unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) races were held in Kyiv. A total of 34 teams took part with different drone models.
The vehicles had to complete a 10 km course with multiple obstacle sections while carrying a payload equal to half of their declared capacity.
Flow just dropped an exciting update last week, so let’s dive in and explore what’s possible.
In this tutorial, you will learn to seamlessly create, refine, and compose your stories. With Flow, you can generate and edit images and videos in a single workflow, allowing you to build cohesive narratives with consistency.
Here’s a look at how you can create with Flow:
Remember these two infantry guys from Ukraine's 93rd Mechanised?
They defended their position near Kostyantynivka for 130 days and nights without rest, and in the end, they even got back with a Russian POW with them.
Photos of their return from the trenches by @iryna_rybakova went viral around the world.
Agency > Intelligence
I had this intuitively wrong for decades, I think due to a pervasive cultural veneration of intelligence, various entertainment/media, obsession with IQ etc. Agency is significantly more powerful and significantly more scarce. Are you hiring for agency? Are we educating for agency? Are you acting as if you had 10X agency?
Grok explanation is ~close:
“Agency, as a personality trait, refers to an individual's capacity to take initiative, make decisions, and exert control over their actions and environment. It’s about being proactive rather than reactive—someone with high agency doesn’t just let life happen to them; they shape it. Think of it as a blend of self-efficacy, determination, and a sense of ownership over one’s path.
People with strong agency tend to set goals and pursue them with confidence, even in the face of obstacles. They’re the type to say, “I’ll figure it out,” and then actually do it. On the flip side, someone low in agency might feel more like a passenger in their own life, waiting for external forces—like luck, other people, or circumstances—to dictate what happens next.
It’s not quite the same as assertiveness or ambition, though it can overlap. Agency is quieter, more internal—it’s the belief that you *can* act, paired with the will to follow through. Psychologists often tie it to concepts like locus of control: high-agency folks lean toward an internal locus, feeling they steer their fate, while low-agency folks might lean external, seeing life as something that happens *to* them.”
The Ukrainian An-124 no. 0706, trapped in Kyiv since 2022, was successfully restored by the Antonov company and returned to Ukraine’s strategic airlift fleet in Germany last week.
It now sports a new name: Be Brave Like Irpin. (Footage from Antonov)
Statement on the halt of Weapons to Ukraine:
President Trump’s leadership continues to be a force for peace in a world that desperately needs it. Under his bold and decisive direction, we’ve seen an end to three major global conflicts: the war between Israel and Iran, the bloody conflict between DRCongo and Rwanda, and the long-standing tensions between India and Pakistan. These are historic breakthroughs that show what real leadership and diplomacy can do when guided by strength and moral clarity.
When Vladimir Putin offered to "help" the U.S. with the Israel-Iran war, President Trump didn’t hesitate. He shut that down immediately and made it clear: if you want to help, stop attacking Ukraine. There’s no room for compromise with a regime that bombs civilian targets, burns churches, and kills innocent women and children. What Russia is doing in Ukraine isn’t just war. These are war crimes, and the world needs to call it exactly that.
President Trump has already said that America will continue to support Ukraine during NATO talks. Right now, there's been a temporary pause in the shipment of defensive weapons like precision-guided shells and Hellfire missiles for Ukraine’s F-16s. That pause needs to end as soon as possible. Every delay costs lives. Every moment we wait gives Russia more time to destroy.
I know there are some at the Pentagon who think countering China should be our main focus. But here’s the truth. If we don’t stop Russia in Ukraine, they’ll move on Moldova next, then the Baltic states. That would trigger Article 5 of the NATO treaty, which would commit the United States not just to send more weapons, but to send American soldiers. No American wants boots on the ground in another war. We have a chance to stop that now.
We need to arm Ukraine heavily, not to escalate the war, but to defend innocent people and save lives. I’ll be communicating with Secretary Hedseth to share my concerns from a humanitarian point of view.
The Department of Defense is continuing to offer the President strong options for ongoing military support to Ukraine, in line with his goal of ending this tragic war.
We can’t stand by and watch this happen. Supporting Ukraine is the right thing to do, and it’s also what putting America First truly means.

Statement on U.S. Role in Ukraine-Russia Peace Talks
“The United States will continue to support Ukraine, but we are no longer acting as the primary mediator in peace talks between Ukraine and Russia.” — U.S. State Department
This decision follows the refusal of Russian President Vladimir Putin to engage in a ceasefire agreement, alongside the rejection of U.S. peace proposals by the Kremlin.
As a servant of God and a passionate advocate for justice, I, Pastor Mark Burns, understand the complexities of this moment. However, I remain steadfast in my belief that the United States must continue to support Ukraine in its struggle for freedom and sovereignty.
While it is true that Washington will "no longer be flying around the world as the primary mediator," America’s commitment to Ukraine is far from over. In fact, President Donald Trump has recently approved the first round of weapons deliveries to Ukraine, sending a powerful message that the United States will not back down in supporting Ukraine’s right to defend itself.
Additionally, the establishment of the United States-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund is a monumental step in providing Ukraine with the resources it needs to rebuild and grow. This agreement, which focuses on leveraging Ukraine’s natural resources for economic development, underscores our commitment to Ukraine’s long-term prosperity.
In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” The plight of Ukraine is not just an isolated issue—it is a matter that touches the conscience of the entire world. We cannot stand idly by while the principles of freedom and sovereignty are threatened.
Now, the responsibility for peace lies with the governments of Ukraine and Russia. It is imperative that both sides engage in direct talks and bring forward “concrete” proposals for peace.
I urge all Americans and people of faith around the world to continue supporting Ukraine and praying for a swift and just resolution. May God guide the leaders of both nations toward a path of peace, healing, and restoration.
America will not turn its back on Ukraine.
We stand for justice, and we will continue to support Ukraine’s fight for freedom and sovereignty.
— Pastor Mark Burns

"On Tyranny" is a #1 NYT bestseller again. I wish the moment were different. But I’m glad the book is useful. And grateful for all the kind words about putting the 20 lessons to work.
Sunday. Christian holiday before Easter. Barbaric brutal murder of civilians in Sumy.
Russians did it intentionally.
But never mind, @SteveWitkoff will thank Putin again and lick his bloody hands.
