@BernieFratto @FoxSportsRadio It’s not punitive. The NFL decided not to hold a supplemental draft. They didn’t say he barred from applying for the NFL. He can apply for 2027 draft. My question is if he was such a hit talent, why didn’t he enter the 2026 draft.

@923TheFan @KenCarman @SportsBoyTony It’s amazing. Legally no precedent has been set. Supplemental drafts are optional. He has no entitlements or protections under the CBA. Players covered by the CBA have an entitlement to due process within the CBA. This is how some precedents can be made based on certain setlmnts

Hold a supplemental draft or not. Based on the NFLs review of the application, the NFL decided not to hold a special draft for 1 player. The NFL can use whatever criteria they want when considering the application.

@TomPelissero The entitlement is outrageous. The supplemental draft is at the discretion of the NFL. How tone deaf are these people. If you want the NFL to make an exception for you to be drafted, common sense should have told him to provide a detailed explanation for the exception request.
