Ezek sajnos üzleti szerződések amik részben lehetnek titkosak még akkor is, ha közpénzről van szó. Ezeket az üzleti titkokat még így is védheti az NDA aminek a megszegése akár durván szankcionált is lehet.
@BachMartinCodes@MjTheHunter yeah.. the "proper" version of this advice should sound something like this: dont do overengineering but keep in mind the future needs and use oop / abstraction at least on basic level for future expansions unless you are doing prototypes.. proto doesnt need abstraction.

also often just.. this fidelity is not needed because.. it looks good in a tech demo but cmon.. we all know fidelity is not everything and often makes no sense because of the gameplay circumstances

for example (data mined from GitHub vomits): epic already implementing a Niagara specific AI Assistant gonna help in Niagara stuffs, nodes, how-to's etc.

and yes the entire development path and progress has been announced years ago by Epic / Tim... when they announced and scheduled 2 major engine version / one year
@itskcGG It's just a main version switching due the upcoming verse scripting language, generic publishing tools, ai assistants and probably some other under the hood things..
Development wise nothing serious gonna change;) optimization techniques remain.. with some possibly new features

There are rumours about async subsystems like full async physics/networking/sound/etc. threads.. I saw some commits regarding this but IDK. can't remember if this was officially confirmed or not
@TvanHelsdingen@StasisGame Yes it is. Tim and Epic addressed the version issue a long time ago. with the start of ue5 the development / release cycles restored to two main release per year. They knew ue4 went off but that was different times and yup Verse is one of the major feature coming with ue6.

Everyone thinks it's a "new" engine but no.. never was as ue5 also was not new compared to ue4.. it's just shipping major features with the new version.. in ue6 this features will be probably verse scripting language, ai assistants etc. Rest of the features already in ue5
