We’re ending our partnership with Cursor following its acquisition by SpaceX. Under our proposal, Cursor’s direct access to our models would end on November 12.

We know that the people most affected by this decision are the developers who rely on OpenAI models in Cursor. We care about their experience in this transition and we’re ready to go above and beyond to support them.

New in Ampt CLI v1.2.0: `ampt reset` wipes your sandbox data, storage, and cached modules so you get a clean environment in seconds. Works on preview environments too with `share --reset`. Same URL, fresh state. Great companion for AI coding agents.

Ampt now supports Node.js 24 as the default runtime, bringing Web Streams, URLPattern, iterator helpers, and a pile of features that used to require an npm package. https://t.co/DMrQrgP866

Like the rest of the world, we have been experiencing an outage since the AWS incident early this morning. We hope to have services restored soon.

Infrastructure, AWS, AI and Jobs, HTMX & more 🎉

Today we have a special guest. We have Jeremy Daly, who’s been in the cloud space for a while.

Jeremy is the co-founder of @amptdev, which is building an abstraction infrastructure layer on top of AWS, just to make it simpler to sift through all the different options and develop on AWS and do best practices there.

So we wanted to get his opinions on a lot of different infrastructure stuff that he's seeing and how AI is changing development.

We even talk about some front end stuff at the end and HTMX and whether it's real, whether it's a troll. So lots of good stuff in this episode.

[Ampt @amptdev]

Amazon S3 just added support for conditional writes to prevent overwriting existing files. This is such a cool feature that we couldn't wait to add it to Ampt's Storage interface. Include the { exists: false } flag in your storage write requests and... voilà. 😉 https://t.co/PYreNB7Ftx
