When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me.
@Kuchrang__ She wont get caught soon IMO. She'll probably frame Eylul, which explains that promo. Just a theory. But yes, Ates' trauma needs to be addressed now. The makers havent done justice to the siblings. They heal on their own and take care of others. They need care too.
@aarulicious02 Ates: Can you tell me your skincare routine? I have got tanned bcoz of running out of jail.
Ender: I will. But first me, how you managed to get that light-eyed beauty. Mine left and married that furniture guy instead.
@chandRaat_ People here are very sensitive. It was clear with the way they dealt with the side actors. A little opposition, inconvenience or criticism, and everything is seen as PR, conspiracy, jealousy, hatred, copycats, clout chasing, etc. Solos, shippers...all same IMO.
@imbored1110 They dont have the kind of passionate chemistry that is needed for such intense romantic scenes. Plus, Serder's eyes are opaque, and it is difficult for him to emote through eyes. Unlike Emin, who is blessed with light eyes that add depth.
Their fighting scenes are fun.
@chandRaat_ I have seen similar tiredness even in Barun Sobti in IPK and IPK3. And many other male actors. They started off with a bang and then exhaustion and monotony took over. Somehow, the female actors are opposite.
@chandRaat_ It's tiredness. He is fantastic in some epi, n very generic in some. It's exhausting to play the same character for 200 epi, each of 1 hr or more. That too, in a show where side characters are poorly written, n everything revolves around the leads. Still he's better than most.
@pookiestemin I've seen this before n always knew it. I'd blame the showbiz culture more than the actors. Shippers see what they want to see as confirmation bias, n ignore the nuances that reveal the truth. E always denied it in interviews, but the bts clips were indeed misleading.
@imbored1110 Cemal had always been an underwritten character. We all loved him only bcoz he shipped Mertes. Otherwise, we barely know him. Also, I am confused why Demet had to give money to that guy when Cemal in jail. Where was Ates? I skipped through that epi, so can someone fill in?
@TiwariJo Bcoz no matter what Asli had done, they'd grown up together. And deep down, Ates knows Asli did such stuff bcoz he loved HIM. Even Cemal is shocked. Plus, at this point, it is heartless to say such things to a mother. Even Nermin showed kindness bcoz she knows how it feels.
@ayshuQx Ates' body is made of elixir. The scars vanish in a day...except those that need to remain to punish his enemy. Like the back ones.
Once Hydar was punished, those scars vanished too. 😂
@imbored1110 The camera angles for Hazar-Eylul are horrible. And too much of staring scenes. Unless one has eyes like Emsu, these scenes dont come out well. They have other strong features. Instead of focusing on their strengths, the camera highlights their weaknesses.
@Weluvu_PattuDee True. But for that, the side characters need to be well-written first. Unless one is a veteran actor, it's diff to liven up a character whose only job is to throw things around. Or sit all day tossing coin n talking big, without any progress.
Writing is the most imp condition.
@Amy2002__ Nezir had a proper arc. He moved the plot along.
Hazar is poorly written. He does nothing all day. Just coin tossing, coffee and big talk.
Kaan was an excellent actor. Serder isnt bad IMO but there is a timing issue with him in his scene delivery, especially with Aleyna.
@Weluvu_PattuDee We all know the answer. Ates would have dragged her with him after beating Nezir to a pulp. So, I dont buy the "he didnt force her, he let us her to choose" narrative that the fd often talks about.
He let us her choose because she chose HIM. 😂
@imbored1110 Problem with Hazar's character is that it is very one-dimensional. It is good on paper. Rich, goofy, dark. But the execution is terrible. He sits at home all day wearing suit, tosses his coin and sips coffee. No office, work, action that would the plot along. Boring writing.
@imbored1110 A lot of people on yt love them too. Some have started watching Arafta from Season 2, so they prefer them to the leads, bcoz the latter's story doesnt have much spice. The new couple has wild fights, which is what viewers prefer over "you are my sun n moon" kind of scenes.
@Mero23ES@araftadizi@emingunenc_ I think, Emin and Aleyna have very good chemistry. Not the passionate, looksmatching type. But the one where you see effortless cameraderie. They can play siblings, friends and even lovers (in the future) IMO. Their offscreen understanding translates well onscreen.
