BBQ Fest 2018 KCBS cookers judging had the teams on edge. This was another great battle. The club appreciates Club side Cleaners and the other sponsors for making this years Fest a success. We look forward to seeing them at our next Fest.

Youngest Paul Harris Fellow award to Margret Smith (Maggy) grand daughter of the events founder , the late Dr. George Smith was announced during BBQ Fest. His wife Toni, daughter Saundra, son Shawn & daughter in law Jill were celebrated for Smith’s commitment to Rotary.

The steak off committee thanks Mr. and Mrs. Bonnie Price from Project 14 as this years referral sponsor. Three schools were eligible. Blackman won. First TN Banks Stephen Collins served as our returning master of ceremony. The weather was great & the field was full of parents.

The High School Competition was tough this year. Our volunteers Taylor Payne, Lori Williams and Alison Green calmed the young chefs nerves and helped ensure they managed their time wisely. Returning judges Barb Ford and Phil Barnett commended and gave soulful recommendations.
