i just turned 18 today. three years since i opened figma for the first time.
at 15 i started learning design and coding off youtube. no course, no one teaching me. just watching, copying layouts i liked, and figuring out why the good ones worked.
did that every day after school for two years. no clients, no audience, nothing to show for it except getting better.

first client came a few months in. now i'm doing $10k a month from designing
then last month my account got disabled. everything gone, the followers, the posts, all of it.
started again from zero on this one my backup account
so i'm rebuilding. still in school, still designing every night.
goal is $100k a month by this time next year. writing it here so i can come back and check.
thanks to everyone who's followed along, this is just the start.
@Jordan1Nv from what i’ve seen 40 ad sets in one cbo is a lot, most won’t get enough conversions to leave learning. have you tested fewer with more spend behind each?
@fromadstoassets your cvr dropping proportional to spend usually isn’t just cold traffic. worth checking whether the new traffic is landing on the same page as the warm stuff, because a page tuned for people who already know you falls apart on first touch
@AaronfromAntla yeah it works, framer commerce or frameship connects to shopify’s storefront api. the 3d is the risk though, not the stack. heavy 3d tanks mobile performance and that’s where most ecom traffic converts
