I’ve never really been a super religious person and didn’t really know too much. But after taking this class I have learned a great deal and really enjoyed it overall. Dan and Megan are both great teachers and really showcased their mastory in the subject. #REL2121S18

@Bcb16b I definitely agree. I think this might have to do with the fact that the running opponent, Hillary Clinton , had an equally questionable past and when it came down to it they looked at Trumps religious background.

It was very interesting to learn that even though the #1 factor that ment the most to Evangelicals was the personal character of the candidate the majority still voted for Trump even with his controversal history. #REL2121S18

@peytoncrutch The use of snakes was an old Christian tradition and it was they were used a way of worshipping God. By handling the snake they are proving obedience and assurance of the proection of the Holy Spirit #REL2121S18

@bap16c That exactly what I thought of when looking over my notes! Commerce and exchange and cultural hybridity, both being a key aspect of the Atlantic World, showcase how different religion overtime begin to intertwine and ideas are exchanged, furthering this point.
