‼️ BREAKING: Guardian is now reporting that Labour will cut welfare payments for severely disabled people who have been found "unfit for work".
That is not a typo. Labour is going to try and push people into work who literally *physically cannot work*.

We need to defend universalism.
Universal benefits like Winter Fuel Payments & demands like Free School Meals for All ensure no-one falls through the cracks.
It builds solidarity, reminding us that we all belong to the same society & deserve warmth, food security & dignity.
If all you have to offer the population is war, austerity and racism, don't be surprised about what crawls out from under the stones.
Far right victory in German elections

When politicians demonise migrants, the far right listen.
When they say refugees should be “sent back to where they came from”, the far right listen.
When they complain about asylum seekers staying in hotels, the far right listen.
Let’s promote a message of unity instead.
One that tackles the issues facing us all: the housing crisis, the collapse of our NHS and the disaster of privatisation.
One that gives hope to all communities that a fairer society is possible.
Stand up to racism. Defend refugees. Inspire belief in a better world. That is how you defeat the far right once and for all.
Far-right violence hasn’t come out of nowhere.
It is the result of anti-migrant rhetoric from mainstream politicians who scapegoat refugees.
We are an anti-racist movement that believes in a more inclusive world. We defeated the far right before. We will defeat them again.
Worth noting that while Suella Braverman labelled protests calling for a ceasefire in the Middle East ‘hate marches’, she has said absolutely nothing about violent racist mobs attacking people, damaging mosques, injuring police officers and setting fire to vehicles and shops
Keir Starmer just suspended 7 Labour MPs - because they voted against driving hundreds of thousands of children into poverty.
The behaviour of a power crazed bully.
The modern Labour party: where you're driven out if you're against imposing poverty on kids.
Private water companies have run themselves into the ground while pumping sewage into our rivers & seas.
Now they want you to pay the price by hiking your bills.
Why are my constituents bailing out greedy companies? Take water into public ownership now!
Labour has officially won fewer votes than Corbyn managed in 2019.
Quite legitimately, many will respond 'what matters in our electoral system is seats'.
But the argument made was 2019 (2017 being erased) showed that the left were fringe lunatics in public opinion.
My fear is Labour are going to respond to the Reform surge in their seats by escalating anti-migrant bashing.
This is wrong in principle - but you can see what happened in Europe when “centrists” tried the same strategy.
Spoiler: it legitimised and fuelled the far right.
