@dr_ashwitt If you wedge a spoon or butter knife under the rim and use it a a lever. It breaks the vacuum seal and lid will just twist off. It was life changing when someone showed me. Now if I could just learn to get rid of spiders I won't need my husband any more.

The rare cases are fascinating but the learning points in this case are something we face every day. Patient expectations, non-compliance, balancing risks, cultral contexts.
