Tips for having good, full, and complete audio from your "Austin festival and conference" talk (probably generalizable to lots of other conferences)-
1. Don't use music clips (even your own)- copyright/licensing is hard to verify and it's probably just going to get cut. 1/x 🧵

5. If you *need* a recording, you can probably DIY alongside the recording that the host organization has set up. We do a great job in a complex environment, but "stuff" happens and having a backup plan to record yourself is wise. 4/x 🧵

Hey, Austin friends! Purpose-made deicer isn't something most of us have, but you can improvise with things you probably have around the house. I'm going to be using a mix of Epsom Salt and baking soda to deice my steps later today to put out trash/recycling bins.
