@FDESPandas @jvanheukelum @mrboula It was a great day. The kids were so well-behaved, engaged, and appreciative of the opportunity to take this trip. Feeling grateful for the chance to take them!
Inspired by the book “WishTree” by Katharine Applegate, fourth graders explored their family history of immigration to the U.S. We then created heritage poems to show the diversity within our “wild and tangled and colorful garden.” (-Red from WishTree) @FDESPandas @pattyacugna7
The FDES Fourth Grade Black History “Bottle Biography” Museum is open through March 4. WPS Staff and families of students are welcome to drop by to learn some important history! @FDESPandas
It’s official... the MVs are famous! @wsls is featuring us on Friday at 5:45am and 6:45am for their #FeelGoodVA broadcast. If you can’t watch it then, it will be on their website after it’s aired. Go Hokies! #MVs4Lyfe#LetsGoHokies
🐼 A “day of play” was the best possible way we could have ended this crazy year. Such fun was had with these amazing kiddos. God love the technology that allowed our virtual and hybrid students to play together despite being apart! FDES Fourth Grade rocks! @FDESPandas
