@Strickomaster 3 weeks really- by the time you have picked up the aftermath of both, it feels like you are back to work from 14th August. I agree, the system needs a re-write: parents and students expect on hand support (and should probably get it) but teachers are entitled to their holidays.

Everything about this is wrong- there are half a million children in private schools and over 8 million in the state sector- they have aspirational parents too but are held back by the shocking funding gap between the two. A class war that has gone on for decades.
