I was in the ER last week and I was there for 12 hours. This is in Columbia South Carolina and I struck up a conversation with several people and a lot of them were from outside of Columbia South Carolina. They should have been able to go to their local hospital, but they were closed. Oh, yes they were rural Black folk I had been speaking to. So, we know how Southern States treat their black and brown population and will make it hard for them to receive medical Care. And don't get me started on the creation of food deserts purposely limited in their neighborhoods.
