Quite telling of the sheer toxicity of German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock in Brazil that neither Lula nor the Brazilian foreign minister agreed to meet her during her first trip there.

She's completely antagonized the Global South with her rhetoric. And again during her trip when she lectured Brazilians on worrying more about the price of their food than events in Europe 🔽 Which by the way shows a complete misunderstanding of why the Global South isn't aligned with the West on the matter...

The most impressive is that she just keeps going, she shows zero capacity to learn and adapt. Frankly puzzling how someone like that could ever become Germany's top "diplomat".
