1 of the biggest issues in education, that is directly causing the “teacher shortage” is that our workload keeps randomly growing.

Someone from a board office or a Ministry office gets an idea & all of a sudden teachers now have hours more work.

That needs to stop.

Not so fun fact as I listen to Lecce’s “announcement”, our board has had to eliminate some high school literacy positions because of budget pressures caused by reduced funding.
