Their relationship has helped me understand that the negative stereotypes about Muslims are just plain wrong. Interesting debate. So often we hear that asking for more from people with more, results in less. For sure it’s not black and white. But we have to go there, our tax system is unfair right now - those that earn the least pay the most and vice versa. And our tax code is madly complex - ten times the size of Singapore’s for example - because it’s chock full of exemptions and allowances and exclusions - for people with money. We can make it better. Perhaps not in a big bang but step by step.

I hate to say it, but today’s headlines screaming about Andrew subletting cottages at Royal Lodge are a distraction.

@LidlGB Hi, sorry I didn't keep the receipt. The amount overpaid was £1.20, so not large. But it maybe an idea to let the store know about it. This also happened at another store involving a relatively small amount, some time ago. Looks like it might be a gap in your staff training.
