Today, he received a formal apology--and showed the power of perseverance.

We talk about #autism because we dream about a just and inclusive society where children and adults with autism may prosper ๐ I love someone with autism ๐๐
After years of people judging my #ESL, I sometimes still feel embarrassed & ignorant for having an accent/ making mistakes.
I try my best to improve but also remind myself that I know >2 languages & I am only human.
Making errors & having an accent makes us UNIQUE, not ignorant
Isnโt it interesting?
We are willing to offer help but reluctant to ask for help.
Asking for help does not only benefit us.
It benefits those we reach out to and strengthens our bond with them.
It tells them they are trustworthy and dependable.

Being an #ally does not mean we are going to get it right all the time.
It means that we are going to try our hardest, we are going to educate ourselves, and we are willing to take risks. It means we are willing to own and repair our mistakes and continue to work with conviction
