@Mon4Kooyong I would love to be able to get a booster vaccination for my children aged 6 to 15. But it’s seemingly impossible at the moment. Can you please lobby ATAGI to update their recommendations? Boosters are being given in other countries around the world.

@FionaMartin123 @Shr_Nottingham It's always possible, but the anaesthetists I know would not give dexamethasone to a diabetic on insulin unless absolutely necessary (eg: airway swelling) Surgery itself causes hyperglycaemia too. The more physiologically stressful the surgery, the worse the glycaemia

@benchallacombe Running 2 ‘linked’ theatres requires extreme vigilance though. It’s a common cause of wrong operation on wrong patient.

@GasNovice I think very little known about normal BP in well (young) children. Cuff BP is often unreliable, as we all know, and invasive pressure is just not an option for research in healthy kids. Be interested to hear what others know.
