My baby is high risk (major prematurity). His little lungs kicked on 2 months early, everything that can threaten lungs is much more dangerous for him. But its not like it matters; i wouldn't have chosen to not help protect an average-risk child from severe covid? ๐
The face of a happy baby who got Moderna shot #1 two days ago!!
(and who seems to feel completely fine lol... Why did i expect side effects after shot 1? I had the tylenol in hand worrying about every fuss, but really he has not cared at all ๐ his leg doesn't even seem sore!)
@TreesSecret@vodkasnowflake@zylaros I'm not here to make friends. I'm here to keep my medically delicate, severely premature infant fed. People who call out the Biden admin should think critically about what solutions are necessary. I don't think Biden can solve Karen not finding Gentleease.
@vodkasnowflake@zylaros But no one calling for ~do something~ today, is actually talking about either of those populations. The population that the admin hasn't helped enough, is rich white parents with healthy children who are walking out of stores when they cant find one specific exact brand/color.
@vodkasnowflake@zylaros You should stop and question who needs "something done". The shortage was most frightening in Feb/March when WIC recipients were fucked, and is still frightening for parents of kids with metabolic disorders. All moves made should (and have been) aimed at those two populations.
BUT it's definitely getting better, baby last week started to have hours here and there where he is temporarily not fussy, just awake in a curious mood lookin cute! A completely novel experience. We can do tummy time, and his PT exercises, and I can even get some baby photos. ๐
Ethan's colic is getting better, but man. I know the definition of colic is "cries 3+ hrs a day 3+ days a week", and I want this angel baby who only cries 3 hours a day. Three hours!!! And not even every day!
