Blanca wouldn’t let me bring my finished wedding dress home. So I got mad because if Emily Gilmore taught me anything it’s that I’m supposed to wear it every night before the wedding.
My fiancée manages to get through all the exhausting tests, clinical rotations, and lectures of medical school while I manage a imaginary football team for 4 months of the year. She’s soon to be MD but I’m bringing home that fantasy football championship belt this season.
The best part of being best friends with recent med school graduates is seeing all the amazing trips they’re on right now. It’s crazy how I’m not jealous at all.
Apologies in advance for being late to work tomorrow morning. My warning light for car’s gas just turned on but I’m telling myself I can get it in the morning on the way in.
Today I decided to not destroy a 9 year old’s innocence when I opted out of explaining to him that I was actually getting myself into astronomical debt when he asked “how much do you get paid to be here?” at the end of his clinic visit.
Me: I cant wait to be done with step so I can eat a vegetable.
Rachel: …you can eat vegetables now.
Me: NO. All I did today was study so then I had to order a huge 4 cheese pasta bowl from Cheesecake Factory.
*Planning MY wedding with blanca*
Blanca: which one do you want?
Me: French. Is that the right one?
Blanca: yeah I would have corrected you if you had said gold.
It’s mine and @DustinHBarker 3 month engagement anniversary BUT, and much more importantly, BOTH of our Twitter anniversaries. So. Woah. #MyTwitterAnniversary
