I’m obsessed with how GenZ has shown up at these protests. There’s anger, but there’s also so much discipline — cleaning up the surroundings, protecting children and dogs, women looking out for each other, and somehow still being EXTREMELY FUNNY.
Loved this editorial in The Post this morning on @BLACKCAPS’ victory over England.
“Test cricket, like much else worth doing, rewards discipline, patience and delayed gratification. There are no shortcuts to greatness. Mr Mitchell’s innings was an object lesson in that truth.”
The debate isn't about eggs.
It's about whether we're willing to sacrifice children's nutrition to satisfy adult politics.
Every child deserves access to high-quality protein. If eggs aren't acceptable to some families, provide an equivalent vegetarian alternative. That's called choice.
Forcing every child to eat less nutritious meals because a few adults object. Children's health should never be held hostage to ideology.
words will always fall short when you try to describe what Jasprit Bumrah means to this team & this nation. every era of indian cricket has had great bowlers but very few had a bowler who shows up exactly when the game starts slipping away. that moment when the opposition thinks they’ve cracked the code and suddenly bumrah has the ball. different pitch, different format, different pressure. same result. he doesn’t just bowl overs. he interrupts momentum. he shuts down belief. he turns “this game is gone” into “wait, we’re still in this.” india has had match-winners but bumrah is something rarer, someone who is just irreplaceable. truly a legend
I am fully convinced that 2019 was the last normal year we ever had. Ever since then, it feels like everything’s broken. Everyone is constantly anxious, time moves too fast, and nothing actually feels real anymore. The world as we knew it is just gone
what a mad mad day of tennis this has been...in this world of reels and short attention spans, this sport truly is a gift...a reminder of how human beings can be extraordinary, and something exists that shows us just how extraordinary they can be...
