Kisho Kurokawa (黒川 紀章) was born on this day in 1934 🎉

In this slide from Charles' archive, Kurokawa is standing in front of his Nakagin Capsule Tower (1970-1972) in Tokyo. The Nakagin Capsule Tower was demolished in 2022, but 23 of the capsules were preserved.
