Car dealers are typically the scum of the earth. I'm trying to be the polar opposite, and it seems that people are starting to notice! ♥️

Intro screen for Main Event '92 is complete!
Warrior vs Hogan was my favorite match a a kid, so I used that as inspiration, and of course at the Sky Dome.
Graphics are looking freaking fantastic.
Really proud of how this paint turned out!
It was super oxidized and probably never polished before, and now it looks better than new.
Super rewarding!
@Texas_Twins_Dad Its advancing so incredibly quickly, its kind of unreal.
Think of where we will be a year from now. I'm 2 or 3 months in and can't imagine not using it.
@The_Alex I've got Grok doing most of my edits now. I'm a FCPX master but its just faster for AI to do it.
With the proper direction it gets me pretty close without any actual time spent. Even the color grades are getting pretty good!
Off-topic from the cars, but it's still a build!
I got tired of my Samsung S89C's home screen being a billboard, so I built my own: a quiet custom home screen with my photography, weather, the house thermostat, and how charged the Taycan and Audi are.
It runs as a small custom app on the TV's own operating system (Tizen), standing in for Samsung's home screen. 250 of my photos rotate in the background, and the accent colors change to match each one.
Leave the remote alone for 8 seconds and the tiles disappear, leaving just the photo. Each one gets a small caption with where and when it was shot, read from the photo file. Spotify gets a frosted-glass "now playing" card, and the remote handles play and skip.
How I got in:
• Turned on the TV's Developer Mode and pointed it at my Mac
• Connected with Samsung's own developer tool (sdb, part of the Tizen SDK)
• Used the open-source Quiet Tizen project to get temporary root on this firmware, then removed the ads, viewing tracking and analytics, and TV Plus
• Samsung's normal home screen won't load an unsigned web app, so I built a native .NET one and put it in a built-in app's slot
Lessons, same as any build:
• Samsung's screensaver kicked in after about 90 seconds no matter what, so I added a tiny helper that keeps the TV awake only while my screen is up
• A slow zoom on 1080p photos left a faint grid on the 4K OLED, so I cut the motion
• Back up before every change and keep every change reversible
