NCAA Championship Rings: 1
Sometimes baseball can be a cruel sport. Just ask Brady Allen about his 111mph line drive that turned into a lineout to the shortstop. This ball was good for an xAVG of .650, but he had nothing to show for it!
Josiah Sightler had the highest exit velocity of the day, a 107 mph laser beam that got out of founders park in 4.5 seconds!
Fun fact: he also sat 92mph in a scoreless third inning.
What better day to test out our new and upgraded Trackman system than our annual scout day! Be on the look out later for some of today’s top performers!
We would have been honoring our seniors this weekend at Founders Park, so we wanted to thank them this week on social media!
First up, our senior managers and support staff @thewrightway3, @brown_chipper, @samj15 and @b6brock!!
We’ll also be tweeting out the Oof of the Day. This award goes to the batter who hit a ball with the highest xAVG, but still got out. Tonight, this award goes to @wesesame , with a lineout at 103mph/16 degrees, good for an xAVG of .750 #oof
