A privilege to speak at the #MYBharat Industry Association Conclave on the opportunities awaiting India's youth in the rapidly growing space sector. Building a future-ready workforce will require strong partnerships across government, industry, and academia.
ISpA participated in the Industry Association Conclave under the #MYBharat initiative. Representing the Association, Lt Gen AK Bhatt (Retd) and the Director highlighted opportunities for youth in India's space sector.

Rockets may launch satellites, but it is skilled people who launch a nation's space future. Preparing an industry-ready workforce is one of the most critical investments for India's journey toward becoming a global space power.
Glad to have led this important discussion.
Gp Capt TH Anand Rao (Retd), Director, @ISpA_India, led a discussion as session chair on Skilling for Space: An Industry Ready Workforce on Day 2 of @INSPACeIND 10th Industry connect "Scaling India's Space Aspirations". #IIC10#INSPACe#SpaceReforms
6. @pranayT1023 is an AI researcher who has worked on Edge AI inference and co-authored research in this area.
At the Delhi meetup, he will be speaking about sustained LLM inference on edge devices, based on his work around the thermal and performance limits of running models locally.
Congratulations to the entire team at @GalaxEye for the successful launch of their satellite. Really proud of you guys for achieving something incredible. These are only the initial steps in a glorious long journey.
God speed Mission Drishti.

A big Scam is running at the Delhi Airport, you can’t get cabs of your choice. The Cab operators tell you to book cabs at a higher price or else you have to wait. Can someone explain this to me. I want to understand how and what this is @nitin_gadkari@gupta_rekha@DelhiAirport

Forty-one years ago, a desert strip outside Bikaner switched on its afterburner.
On 13 Feb 1985, when No. 37 Sqn moved into Nal as its first permanent fighter unit, it began a 40-year MiG-21 chapter that would make Nal the third-longest-serving home of the type in India.
Nal airbase had existed long before that day. But until 1985, no squadron had called it home.
A kutcha runway was laid by the British by the end of 1942 during the Second World War. After the war, the airfield was vacated and later overseen by the state PWD. From 1942 to 1950, the Bikaner royal family operated a flying club here. Maharaja Ganga Singhji, Maharaja Sadul Singhji and Maharaja Karni Singhji each took a keen interest in nurturing aviation in this desert outpost.
In Sep 1950, the airfield passed to the Indian Air Force. A new runway came up in 1963. Nal was designated No. 9 Care & Maintenance Unit (C&MU).
During the 1971 War, it was activated and a flight of Mystere aircraft operated from here. In July 1972, it was redesignated No. 3 Forward Base Support Unit. On 17 April 1989, it assumed the name by which it is known today: 46 Wing.
Over four decades, five squadrons left their imprint on Nal: No. 37 Sqadron, No. 15 Sqn, No. 108 Sqn, No. 3 Sqn and No. 23 Sqn.
But today is about the Black Panthers and the moment they made Nal permanent.

Ashwin Prasad (@ashwinpras)'s paper examines how early movers in satellite megaconstellations are locking up the orbital commons through "first-come, first-served" regulations—with permanent consequences.
Over 70% of all active satellites are now megaconstellations. They are still in initial deployment phases. Yet under current International Telecommunication Union (ITU) rules, these incumbents can hold prime orbital and radio frequency resources indefinitely. Later entrants—startups, developing nations, future generations—are forced to coordinate around early movers or migrate to less favourable orbits and frequencies.
The physical carrying capacity of LEO is finite. The radio frequency spectrum available is scarce. And crucially, this incumbency is effectively permanent. The system that promised to connect the world risks fragmenting it instead, deepening geopolitical fault lines into the orbits themselves.
