@DocRGM_ Would be useful to know the case reference to quote at police who act high handed or refuse FIR. For a burglary, I was asked to sign it as Non Cognizable and they never gave FIR. We didn't lose much valubles but due to breaking, there was a lot of repair cost. They won't own up.

@WokePandemic Irrespective of the peace or trauma at home, a few years of hostel life is very important. Staying in touch with a child in hostel is also a skill. Knowing the challenges in life early in a safe environment, helps a lot in later years. Sadness should be channeled to get skills.
